Description
Unired's Database is the network's online union catalogue. It contains records for over one million of titles held by the associated libraries. His main objective is to promote resource sharing among Argentine libraries.
Subject coverage:
Social sciences, mainly economy and management.
Geographic coverage:
Mainly Argentina, Latin America. |
File size:
1,321,062 bibliographic records as of December 2004.
Update frequency:
Aproximately two years.
Authors / publishers:
The 88 cooperating libraries as network members through the direction of the coordinating members.
Since 1999, the number of participating libraries has increased from twenty nine to eighty eight.

More than one million records representing the holdings of 88 Argentine libraries.
It also contains analytical records, not included in Proyecto Padrinazgo de Publicaciones Periódicas Argentinas.
The majority of materials described in Unired's database belongs to the participating libraries. Users should contact them to ask about access and use of the materials.
