What is the UNIRED's Database?

Welcome to UNIRED social and economic sciences database, which provides access to more than one million three hundred thousand of bibliographic references of documents available in Argentina.

UNIRED (Economic and social sciences information network) is a co-operative system established in Buenos Aires in 1989 as a mechanism to find, promote and exchange bibliographic information. This database is the result of the work of 88 libraries of government, private and international institutions currently members of UNIRED. To access the documents you have to contact the library mentioned in the record.

The database was updated in november 2004. The Unired 2004 database was created with MicroISIS, software provided by Unesco, and for Internet we adopted the search engine WWWISIS of BIREME.

The Library of the Consejo Profesional de Ciencias Económicas de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (Economic Sciences Professional Council) is pleased to provide this information in the World Wide Web.
